A blog for whatever's on my mind at the moment. It may be politics one minute, music the next, cities after that, or just something I found funny or interesting.

Is it just me?
Or does anyone else out there find it a bit disturbing that we have black men walking around on the streets wearing clothing that has "State Property" emblazoned all over it?
I've been scribbling for more than 30 years, mostly in journalism and its hired-gun cousin, public relations. Currently, I'm Editor-in-Chief of the Philadelphia Real Estate Blog, sponsored by Noah Ostroff and Associates. In my history: launching award-winning newspapers at the University of Pennsylvania and Widener University. Personally, I love to cook and eat, I'm a big ol' traingeek, and I'm a fan of architecture, cities, and jazz, among other things. I also enjoy good conversation and long walks.
